Please get in touch if interested. Not all our cross-country experiences or courses can be booked online. We aim to be flexible for you!
The best way is to contact us via email, so we can provide a suitable and personalised offer and assist you directly with any questions.
If you find a suitable course in our online booking, please remember you need to have your own or hired skis. We can help arrange rentals but do not operate a ski hire service ourselves.
Skating courses depend on having the correct equipment and prepared trails; booking is therefore only possible via direct email contact.
You should wear wool base layers, including a thin wool jumper and long johns beneath your outerwear. Then a warm layer of thicker wool or fleece, and a windproof jacket and trousers. The key is to dress in layers you can easily add or remove, depending on the weather and your exertion during the course.
For the 4-hour tour course, you'll need a daypack with extra clothing and food/drink.
Several local accommodation providers offer cross-country and mountain ski rentals, including Lemonsjø Fjellstue, Gjendesheim, Bessheim, and Hindsæter Hotel.
Our ski courses run alongside the preparation of ski trails around Lemonsjøen, typically from Christmas to Easter. Please contact us if you have any questions about availability!
You don't need the latest skis to take part in our courses; the most important thing is that your equipment fits you and you feel comfortable using it.
If you're using waxable skis, we expect that you or the rental service have prepared them appropriately for the day's conditions.
For skating courses, you must have skating skis and boots. Longer poles are recommended, but you can join with classic-length poles.
All our ski courses take place on prepared trails at Lemonsjøen. Meet at the car park by Lemonsjø Fjellstue 10 minutes before the start for a brief equipment check.
Unfortunately, there is no public transport to our area in winter, so you will need your own car. Some accommodation providers offer pick-up from the train station at Otta.
